Hek Jones advise on Contract Extention
Hek Jones Solicitors were pleased to announce that they advised Scrum Sport Ltd on the recent contract negotiations between Toby Faletau and the Newport Gwent Dragons. The Dragons were keen to secure a contract extention for Toby at the region particularly in the light of his recent form at the World Cup.
Toby was the only Welsh player to start in all 7 of Wales' World Cup matches, and made a huge impact on both attack and defence, failing to miss one tackle during the tournament.
Despite undoubtedly attracting the attention of other clubs both inside and outside Wales, Toby has extended his contract with the Dragons until the end of the 2014 season.

Men's Health Survival of the Fittest 2011
Hek Jones partners Darren and Andrew both completed the gruelling Survival of the Fittest Challenge in Cardiff Bay on Sunday 2nd October 2011. The event consists of a 12km run around Cardiff Bay and Cardiff City Centre, with various obstacles to conquer along the way. These obstacles vary from an Army assault course to a stair-climbing challenge in the notoriously steep Millennium Stadium.
Both Darren and Andrew completed the event in respectable times, despite the unseasonal heat, and are looking forward to competing next year.

The firm are pleased to announce that Christine Coakley joined Hek Jones on the 1st June 2011. Christine is an extremely experienced conveyancing practitioner who also specialises in wills and probate. Christine previously worked for Oakley & Davies Solicitors for many years where she built up a substantial client following. Christine is a great addition to an already established and exprienced conveyancing team we are pleased to have her on board.
